Fuel Configuration

The Verifone Fuel Configuration with Fuel Prices is the part of the Commander Site Controller setup that defines how fuel grades, prices, and price signs are programmed, managed, and communicated across the entire forecourt. It ties together the POS, the site controller, the dispensers, and—if installed—electronic price signs.

Fuel Prices

Location fuel prices can be modified by selecting the Pending Prices option on the right side of the screen. Prices that are currently active at the store will be found by selecting ‘In Effect Prices’.

Fuel prices are set based on the products and service levels assigned at the location. If there is uncertainty which products are assigned at the dispensers, see the Fuel Configuration – In Effect tab > Fuel Positions.

After the product is selected, the price can be changed for all the service level and MOP options by entering in an amount in the ‘Apply to all the Tier One (Two) Prices’ field and selecting Apply. Prices can also be entered in for each Service Level and MOP.

The Minimum Street Price is currently a read only field and sets the minimum amount that fuel prices can be set to. This field is intended to prevent incorrect fuel prices from being assigned.

Select Apply Changes on the bottom of the page to save the updates. Select Discard to undo any changes made.

Fuel Configuration

The Fuel Configuration section is located under Verifone Commander Central > Site Management > (Select Site) > Forecourt > Fuel. It contains two views:

  • In Effect - displays the fuel configuration currently active at the site. This view is read-only.

  • Pending - displays the fuel configuration staged for the next push. Authorized users can edit the Pending Config across four tabs: Parameters, Tanks, Fuel Grades, and Fuel Positions.

To navigate to a tab, select Fuel Configuration from the top navigation, then select In Effect or Pending, and choose the desired tab.

Access by User Role

Access to edit the Fuel Pending Config depends on the user's role and assigned permissions:

  • Petro Site Admin - can edit all four tabs of Fuel Pending Config.

  • Petro Site User - can edit Fuel Pending Config when the appropriate permissions are assigned.

  • Major Oil Admin / Major Oil User - can view and/or edit Fuel Pending Config when the appropriate permissions are assigned.

The In Effect view remains read-only for all roles.
