Introduction

The Verifone P400 is the next generation integrated into Verifone Commander Site Controller locations and is intended to function as a secondary PIN pad. The Verifone MX 915, MX 925, and M400 PIN pads are still required to be installed at the location as the primary PIN pad. Verifone P400 PIN pads can be used at kiosk, drive through, or other pass through locations. Its touchscreen functionality and sophisticated design is perfect for the C-Store. The Verifone P400 is a consumer-facing handheld device.

Front Functions

The Verifone P400 includes the following features:

  • Capacitive touch LCD display

  • Secure keypad supporting 3x5 matrix containing 0-9, *, #, Cancel, Backspace/Clear, and Enter keys

    • Supports telco-style format

    • Dual-function Backspace/Clear key

    • Customer-entry for Cancel and Enter keys

Back Functions

The rear of the Verifone P400 PIN pad displays the following:

  • Cable connector compartment

  • Threaded grommets for attaching the mounting plate
