The M425A includes a 5.5-inch color touchscreen, mechanical PIN keypad, smart-card reader, magnetic-stripe reader, contactless reader, barcode scanner, microphone, audio jack, and K-lock slot.

On-screen PIN entry is not supported.

Payment support

The M425A supports chip, contactless, magnetic-stripe, fleet, debit PIN, PIN bypass, digital wallets, and barcode or QR-based loyalty and coupon flows.

Care and cleaning

Keep the terminal dry and clear of loose objects. Do not drop, shake, paint, open, or use it in explosive environments.

Clean surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with water and mild soap. Use alcohol-based cleaner for stubborn marks.

Never use thinner, trichloroethylene, ketone-based solvents, or direct sprays.

Clean the smart-card reader and magnetic-stripe reader regularly with an approved cleaning card, such as Verifone part number 02746-02.

Accessories

Common M425A accessories include a passive stylus, stylus holster, privacy shield, power supply, multiport cables, Ethernet switch cables, and orange-cable dongles.

Service returns

Obtain a Merchandise Return Authorization before returning a terminal for repair or replacement. Record the product ID, part number, serial number, problem description, and shipping details.
