Card Table Download (Trigger pull)

Refresh Card Configuration Tables so Pinpads use current card settings.

Use this when you’re asked to run a Card Table Download, Table Load, or Trigger Pull.

  1. Find your Payment host network in the list below.

  2. Run the steps specific to your brand (e.g., Buypass, HPS).

  3. If you get Success, you’re done.

  4. If you get Failed, contact the Helpdesk.

Before you start:

  • Confirm the Payment host network (Buypass, HPS, etc.).

  • Confirm the brand (Sunoco, Valero, etc.).

  • Plan for a brief outage if you must Reboot (no fueling/transactions during reboot).

  • Have Helpdesk contact info ready in case the download fails.

BP

  1. Contact the BP helpdesk at 888-274-3578 to “Stage a Card Table”. Keep them on the line.

  2. On the POS: CSR FunctionNetwork MenuEPS Network FunctionInitiate Trigger Pull. Wait 3–5 minutes for tables to apply.

  3. Reboot the Commander (power cycle):

    • Confirm no customers are fueling/processing fuel sales.

    • Find the black AC/DC power cable on the back of the Commander.

    • Follow it to the power brick or wall outlet.

    • Unplug power, Wait 5 minutes.

    • Reconnect the power and allow the Commander to fully boot up. Wait until Status is A9 appears and DCRs return to normal.

  4. Verify that the BP payment processor is online: Navigate to CSR Functions > Network Menu > Diagnostics Check Host Status. If it displays as Offline, contact BP for troubleshooting assistance.

  5. If Online, contact Buypass to reset PDL.

  6. On the POS: CSR FunctionNetwork MenuEPS Network FunctionPerform Table Load.

  7. On the POS: CSR FunctionNetwork MenuEPS Network FunctionPerform EMV CA Public Key File Download.

Shell

  • Updates are pushed by Network (No Action Required on POS)

  • Table updates are periodically and automatically sent through the Wincor, no action is needed at the POS.
